MY WAY OF HEALTH & LIFE
VISHAL SUKHATANKAR, from a family where the mother is a trained Yoga teacher and the father is a practitioner of Reiki, Pranic healing and Bach Flower Remedies, Vishal, grew up amidst an environment of energetic understanding and committed healing practices.
Though a Commerce graduate, Vishal was naturally inclined towards health and fitness since a very young age. He has been practicing yoga from the age of 10. Post graduation, Vishal completed a course in Yoga from Kaivalyadhama Institute, Lonavala; Power Yoga, from Leena Mogre, a renowned Fitness Expert of Mumbai; and Ashtanga Yoga from Yoga Alliance, Mysore, with an International Accreditation. Vishal also learnt and got certified as a Bach Flower Therapist from his father Atul Sukhatankar who is currently one of the senior-most Bach Flower Therapist in the country, with a practise of 25 years.
Vishal’s passion has always been about bringing a change in people’s lives. That’s what got him interested in Life Coaching. After being certified from Symbiosis Coaching, Vishal developed an innovative concept called Emotional Healing, which is his own unique contribution to the field of coaching.
For over a year and a half, Vishal taught Yoga to various individuals and to Corporate groups in Mumbai. Opportunities overseas, took him to Maldives where he worked with Waldorf Astoria, Hilton and, later, with Naladhu Maldives and Anantara Maldives for 4 years. His long stint in Maldives, gave him an opportunity to hobnob with and impart health and healing lessons and practices to various international business men, super models and super-achievers from Russia, Japan, Germany, United States and from many other places across the globe. Later, for two years, he worked at Banana Island Resort Doha, Qatar, where his healing and coaching classes drew people in large numbers. Many still continue to reach him with fond remembrances for the impact he made on their life..and veered them towards a more fulfilling life of success and achievements.
Vishal has also worked with the Hyatt group of hotels in Hyderabad where he was assigned to conduct group wellness and Yoga sessions for companies like TCS and a hugely celebrated World Yoga Day session with the Telangana Police fraternity.
In today’s world where work involves immense stress, such as never witnessed before, it becomes very important to stop…and breathe…viz. to relax and rejuvenate our mind and body, not merely for achieving good health but also for ridding our bodies and our minds of stress pileup to eventually enhance our energy levels and improve work efficiency…all to achieve excellence.
